$250 on-bill credit through Kitchener Utilities

Kitchener Utilities Furnace Rebate in effect until April 30, 2019

For a limited time, Kitchener Utilities is offering a $250 on-bill credit when you upgrade your existing furnace to a higher efficiency furnace.

In order to be eligible for either of these on-bill credits, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must purchase and install a high-efficiency furnace with an electronically commutated motor (ECM) or boiler through a licensed heating contractor. 
   
• Replace an existing natural gas furnace or boiler (94% AFUE or less) to a higher efficiency natural gas furnace model (95% AFUE or higher).
   
• You must be the property owner of a residential property in Kitchener and a Kitchener Utilities natural gas customer.
   
• The program is effect from January 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019 or until funding is depleted.
